High school is a time in a student's life to prepare them to be responsible, well rounded adults. We strive to prepare them to be successful in college, workforce or vocational trade.

Friday, October 18: District Softball at La Plata. Bevier plays Brashear at 5:00 p.m. Bus leaves at 3:20 p.m.

Saturday, October 19: Jr. High Bucklin Basketball Tournament - Boys play for 1st Place at 8:00 p.m. Bus leaves at 6:30 p.m.

Monday, October 21: Jr. High Basketball games at Green City. There will be 2 extra quarters of boy's "B" game at 5:30 p.m. Bus leaves at 3:45 p.m.

Tuesday, October 22: Jr. High Basketball games at Bevier with Meadville. 2 extra quarters of boy's "B" game at 5:30 p.m.

Friday, October 25: Jr. High Basketball games at Novinger at 6:00 p.m. Bus leaves at 3:50 p.m.

Monday, October 28: Jr. High Basketball games at Bevier with Linn Co. at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, October 17: End of 1st Quarter

Monday, October 21: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:00 -6:00 p.m.

Monday, October 21: School Board Meeting 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, October 23 - Friday, October 25: FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, IN. Selected members of FFA will be attending.

Thursday, October 24: Mother/Son Pumpkin Carving event in the school cafeteria 5:30 -7:00 p.m. Pumpkins and supplies are provided.

Saturday, October 26: Band will participate in the Truman Homecoming Parade. Bus leaves at 7:00 a.m.

Tuesday, October 29: All picture retakes and Jr. High Basketball pictures will be taken by Wagner Photography.

Thursday, October 31: Elementary Halloween Parade at 2:30 p.m.

MOCAP:   The district will participate in the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (“Program”). The Program offers District students the opportunity to enroll in virtual school courses in a variety of grade level and content areas from Kindergarten through grade 12. The District may elect to offer specific courses as part of the program. Any on-line courses or virtual programs offered by the District prior to August 18, 2018 will be automatically approved for program participation, where the District course meets program requirements.
